2 months in, 900 users, $350 MRR. screenshot tool for app devs https://appshots.me . Real numbers up front so you can judge whether this is worth reading. It came out of a problem on my own app. Good impressions in a bunch of countries, bad conversion. Turns out one screenshot set was going to every storefront and dying in most of them. Fixing it properly meant a localized set per market, which is a full day of design work each, so I never did it. That gap is the whole business. Appshots

I built a screenshot API because my personal Puppeteer setup kept breaking. Six months later it has an MCP server and hundereds of users Solo founder here, this is my product, full disclosure. It started as super simple helper self hosted tool for myself: I needed website screenshots for a project, self-hosted Puppeteer, and spent more time babysitting Chromium than building.
