Just shipped something on @commonsmade and I’m genuinely hyped. Introducing Starbound Python It’s a small interactive world where you help a robot buddy named Nova rescue lost stars by writing real Python commands. You type a line of code, hit run, and watch the map react in real time. Simple commands, instant feedback, space vibes. I built the whole thing inside the Commons/VibeFi harness. No fighting with deployment, no separate backend setup, just vibe → iterate → ship. The free compute + built-in tools made it feel almost unfair how fast it came together. This is exactly what I think the future of building should feel like: An AI coding environment that doesn’t just help you write code, but actually lets you launch it, share it, and (eventually) earn from it. If Cursor or Claude Code had a built-in accelerator and 24/7 playground for vibecoders… this is the closest thing we’ve got right now. Go play with Nova for a bit. Write a few lines. I worked with GPT-6 Astra to create a lightweight planetarium web app that I've been using with my kids to learn the names of stars and constellations. Try it here: A few notes from the development process: - Astra one-shotted the initial version, and it worked flawlessly, but I wound up iterating on it a lot. - I removed a lot of features and added others, mostly while sitting outside on my front porch using it. Things like: -- Adding a way to adjust for light pollution. I live in the suburbs, where there's a lot of light, so 95% of the stars on the map weren't visible to me. That made it harder to identify the ones that were. After I added that feature and selected "Suburban sky," the map almost perfectly reflected what I could actually see. -- Adding a way to toggle constellations and labels on and off. It's helpful to turn them off to orient yourself, then turn them back on once you've found a few reference points. -- Adding a subtle mountain range at the bo
