I worked with GPT-6 Astra to create a lightweight planetarium web app that I've been using with my kids to learn the names of stars and constellations. Try it here: A few notes from the development process: - Astra one-shotted the initial version, and it worked flawlessly, but I wound up iterating on it a lot. - I removed a lot of features and added others, mostly while sitting outside on my front porch using it. Things like: -- Adding a way to adjust for light pollution. I live in the suburbs, where there's a lot of light, so 95% of the stars on the map weren't visible to me. That made it harder to identify the ones that were. After I added that feature and selected "Suburban sky," the map almost perfectly reflected what I could actually see. -- Adding a way to toggle constellations and labels on and off. It's helpful to turn them off to orient yourself, then turn them back on once you've found a few reference points. -- Adding a subtle mountain range at the bo
