I turned an open-source Project into my first SaaS Like a lot of people job hunting, I was sending nearly the same resume to every posting and wondering why I wasn't hearing back. I found Resume-Matcher, an open-source project with 28k+ GitHub stars that rewrites your resume line-by-line to actually match a job post instead of just stuffing in keywords. Found a nasty bug in my AI career tool: it was inventing fake analysis for files it couldn't actually read I built Rezycle.me a couple weeks ago — a free AI resume scan that flags automation risk and suggests career pivots. This week I found a bug that honestly worried me. If someone uploads a resume PDF that's actually a flattened image (no real text layer — happens with a lot of visual/Canva-style CV templates), the AI was still generating a full result.
