I collect records and I build apps in my spare time (and listen to records while I build apps), and this is what happens when those two things run into each other. Many people post photos of what they have spinning on their turntables on social media, and most never get any engagement. It occurred to me that people might want a better way to do this, and bringing them together in a niche social site might help. So I made Wax Spinner. Connect your Discogs (the de-facto vinyl collector's catalogue) account, post whatever you're playing with an optional note, and it lands in a feed where people can like it and comment. You can also browse anyone's full collection on their profile, and filter the feed by genre, pulled straight from Discogs metadata. The conversation and the discovery are the primary purpose. I spent months building my SaaS and completely forgot the marketing part I just realized Voxandra has had exactly zero marketing. Not bad marketing. Literally none. So this Reddit post is now the entire marketing department. Voxandra is an AI phone copilot for people and teams who still get real work done over phone calls. hello HN, let me tell you why i built boilerroom ( https://boilerroom.ai ). throughout my past endeavours in sales, the one thing that thoroughly pissed me off was living in a million places to execute one thing; the outbound motion this includes everything top of funnel like finding leads (be it inbound or outbound), researching, filtering for qualification criteria, throwing them in a sequence, engaging them via dialer, email, and linkedin, gathering context, all the way through bottom of funnel like discovery calls, demo calls, and post-sales activities what absolutely does not exist (or if it does, a piss-poor model) is a place to simply execute this work in one place why tf do i have to be on clay, or apollo, clicking around looking for leads, researching them around myself, put them in to some other garbage software to sequence to tell me when to make a call or send out automated emails, only to get a massive backlog of things I was supposed to do, which in turn makes my whol
