X’s API is expensive, so I built a simpler API for public X data I’ve been building ThreadQuery, an API for getting structured public X data into apps and AI workflows. It supports search, post lookup, profiles, user posts, threads, trends, followers, and following. I’m starting with a free beta while I test reliability with real usage. I built the thing. Now I am not sure the base use case is one people will pay for. Founder here. This started as a side learning project to see whether an LLM could answer questions about Excel data, back when they could not do it well. I built the first version on n8n, with workflows that ingested files, generated metadata with an LLM, and answered questions against the converted data plus that metadata. I built a tool that turns messy supplier PDFs and spreadsheets into Shopify CSVs I'm a software developer in Australia, building this on the side around a full time job. The itch: dropshippers and small Shopify stores get product catalogs from suppliers as PDFs or ugly spreadsheets, then hand-retype them into Shopify's import CSV. While building I ran real supplier catalogs through it and the files were worse than you'd think. Split product titles, columns that drift halfway down the page,
