Create and style custom city maps from 500 curated cities, then download or share.

I haven’t posted here in a while. I spent the last two weeks vibe coding EveryCityMap from scratch—a small product for styling, sharing and exporting maps of 500 cities. No signup needed. It’s still rough in places, so honest feedback is welcome:

Sync all Basecamp project calendars into a unified iCal feed for Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar.

First things first: On the landing page, click on the "demo" link below the Hero section to try it without jumping any hoops ** I'm a long-time Basecamp user and satisfied with its overall functionality. Of course, there are many things that can be improved but that is not the point of this post. *Background* Basecamp lets users create "Projects". Because I (and every other Basecamp user) creates a dedicated project for different scope of work, even if it is for the same client. For example, at any given time, I may have 4 projects for client-X and 3 projects for client-Y. *My pain point* I have experienced that most clients (especially the decision-makers) do not use Basecamp as often as we--the agency folks use it. They just use it when some reviews or comments are required or some file access. The clients organize their

Track Google Maps rankings street by street with separate mobile and desktop measurements.

I built a Google Maps rank tracker that compares mobile and desktop results street by street I built a Google Maps rank tracker that shows mobile vs desktop rankings street by street — looking for blunt feedback Google Maps rankings are much more local than most reports make them look. A business can rank #2 from one street and become almost invisible a few blocks away. Mobile and desktop results can also tell completely different stories. I kept seeing tools reduce all of this to a sin

Visualize and predict weather with on-device calculations and custom aggregation modes.
__mp · HN
I built my own weather prediction / visualization app: https://wx.rsp.li (on-device temperature lapsing, on device interpolation modes, user-selectable aggregations, etc…). One of these days I should do a writeup. I also asked Claude to build a photo gallery for me https://places.pascalspoerri.ch (HDR, map support, similar images)
