I asked that question myself a couple of times, which is why I created a side project to answer it. I built Skill Grill, an open-source directory and community trust layer for AI agent skills. Free consumer product, seat-based education product, enterprise assessment product. Same codebase. Is this survivable? Three motions off one core. Students practice free and generate cost, not revenue. Educators pay per seat. Hiring teams are the expensive product and the reason any of it matters.
