I was interested in answering this question so I built a benchmark comparing git, jj and gitbutler in agentic context https://vcbench.dev/ Disclaimer - I am a co-founder of GitButler

Open-source AI agent that understands repositories, generates code, and automatically opens pull requests on GitHub.

Looking for feedback on my open-source AI GitHub agent that understands repositories and opens PRs automatically Hi everyone, I've been building an open-source project called Nascent, and I'd love some honest technical feedback from developers who work on real GitHub repositories. The idea is simple: - Connect a GitHub repository - Ask for a feature, bug fix, or refactor in plain English - The agent analyzes the codebase - Generates the required changes - Shows a d

Review GitHub pull requests in a native app without opening github.com.

I still don't like the fact that AI is adding more stuff for us to read, it's accelerating the code production but slowing down the code review. I built my own code reviewer as well ( https://pyor.review/ ), surfacing the important stuff first is the right track, but adding more stuff to read is daunting, but asking AI to just point you to what you need to focus on and skim the noise is what I'm leaning more towards.

Give AI agents real UI context with screenshots, design contracts, and audits.

the boring internal tool became the product we didn’t start with a saas idea. we were just annoyed that every agent-built UI looked weirdly related. so we made an internal finish gate: real screen references, a design contract, browser checks, and a ban list for generic AI defaults. one developer kept asking why it wasn’t public. eventually we stopped having a good answer. now UIZZE has a few paid users. builder disclosure: it’s mine, $9/mo or $99 lifetime: https://uizze.com current
