AI travel planner that reconciles different preferences to help plan activities together.
u/SnooDoggos8379 · Reddit
AI Travel Planner - my first side project in years! Hi all! I finally carved out some time to work on a side project that resolves a very real problem for me - my husband and I can never agree on what to do when we travel so the idea was to have AI reconcile our interests! I hadn't done full stack dev in a min so that's what made it more fun! Would love to get your feedback and insights : https://travel-tetris.vercel.app/ Thank you!!! submitted by /u/SnooDoggos8379 to

I built this a year ago, just as a fun experiment, and posted it on my portfolio. It was getting a lot of monthly traffic so I built it as a stand alone app and monetized it. Slowly but surely it’s growing :) Mobile app launches soon too.

She watched me look at model rankings and asked what do the numbers mean... I literally had no good way of explaining it to her so I just came up with something that is approximately in the same ballpark as some of the benchmarks out there lol

Paste your X username to get AI predictions of your future wife's crypto portfolio moves.

I'm just vibe coding. Future wife, what have you done with crypto futures? Suspicious that your crypto wife will rug your entire portfolio? The oracle has spoken. Now you don't have to guess. You paste your X username, and the app brutally predicts your future wife's crypto behavior by scanning the blockchain oracle, checking her jeet probability, and calculating her rug pull risk score. Will she: - Sell your BTC at the bottom and buy back at the top - Jeet your BONK for a 2% gain then watch it 100x - Full port your savings into FARTCOIN at 3am - Mint 200 NFTs and floor price them to zero - Blame Mercury retrograde for every loss Tag the bro who needs to check his girl before proposing

Share the vinyl records you're spinning and see what other collectors are playing.
geekamongus · HN
I collect records and I build apps in my spare time (and listen to records while I build apps), and this is what happens when those two things run into each other. Many people post photos of what they have spinning on their turntables on social media, and most never get any engagement. It occurred to me that people might want a better way to do this, and bringing them together in a niche social site might help. So I made Wax Spinner. Connect your Discogs (the de-facto vinyl collector's catalogue) account, post whatever you're playing with an optional note, and it lands in a feed where people can like it and comment. You can also browse anyone's full collection on their profile, and filter the feed by genre, pulled straight from Discogs metadata. The conversation and the discovery are the primary purpose. The details this crowd might find interesting: every spin generates its own OpenGraph share card on the fly, with cover art, artist, year, and notes rendered server-side and cached
