I built a total compensation tracker because spreadsheets kept lying to me about my RSU income Currently in big tech and it was always a toss up figuring out what my comp was whenever the market made big moves. I'd forget about vesting cliffs, miscalculate the tax hit on RSUs, or completely ignore how a sign-on bonus amortizes over 4 years when comparing offers. I got laid off and create a job tracking app, wdyt? I am interested in any feedback around a job tracking app I created for myself. I was using google sheets to track applications and I eventually vibe coded my way to this app. This felt like a waste of effort to not try to share.
