Is vibe coding criticism fair? A lot of the criticism of vibe coding is fair. Too many projects look good in a demo then fall apart in production — weak security, missing edge cases, code nobody understands later. One of the biggest gaps is testing (or the total lack of it). I took both automated and manual testing seriously while building Brainary. Ended up with a testing-to-code ratio of about 1 to less than 3, plus a lot of hands-on checking. I think it turned out solid because of that.

A GitHub-backed wiki for Open Knowledge Format bundles

I built Commonplace because I wanted to learn more about Google's Open Knowledge Format for knowledge sharing with human and agents. At the same time, Atlassian announced it will start using customer cloud data to train its AI models (opt-out is Enterprise-only), which made a self-hosted Confluence alternative feel timely. The idea: - Use a Git repository that follows Open Knowledge Format with plain Markdown - Commonplace is just a stateless frontend on top (nice UI, but no database, no backups

Build personalized curricula on any topic, learn through bite-sized lessons, and earn coins by completing quizzes.

Built Duolingo for Learning Anything! I wanted a way to learn anything in bite sized pieces and have fun! Learning requires active participation and spaced repetition to properly absorb what you learn, you need reps just like working out. How it works: - Enter a sentence and generate an entire learning curriculum for yourself, at your skill level, interest and depth, starting from the foundations and working your way up to expertise - Fact check and cite the sources it use

Rephrase a twelve-word sentence in exactly five words using only its words.

Long Story Short, a daily word game where you rephrase a 12-word sentence in exactly 5 of its words Hi, I made this one. I've played Wordle-likes for years and always wanted to build my own, but I never had an idea that felt like mine. The push came from a strange place. Half of what I read these days is written by AI, and it's never short. Every email, every doc, twelve words where five would do. At some point I said the phrase out loud, long story short, and realised it was
