Hacker News minus the slop

Require unknown senders to solve a CAPTCHA or pay to reach your email and calendar.

Hi HN, The one thing AI reliably does is generate noise. Half the tools I see launch are just machines for producing more noise across more channels. And people are starting to see this in the form of emails in their inboxes as spam filters are struggling. There used to be a useful signal in email: the effort a sender put into customizing a message was a rough proxy for how relevant it actually was. AI killed that. After that, Marzel will also include a browser extension and a desktop app for auditing Claude Code and Codex CLI sessions, which is the project's main goal. If yo

Remove duplicates and clean messy text without uploading your data.

I got tired of cleaning messy lists manually, so I built a 100% private web tool that runs entirely in your browser Hey everyone! 👋 I constantly found myself wasting time removing duplicates, cleaning up random junk text, and sorting data. I wanted something fast, but I didn't want to upload sensitive text or lists to random, sketchy websites. So, I built Text Tools (part of my Browser-Toolkit project). Key features: 100% Private: Zero data leaves your device. Everyt
