I got tired of losing warranty claims because of faded receipts, so I built Warranty Tracker A few months ago, I had an expensive gadget fail just after I bought it. I knew it was still under warranty, but finding the receipt turned into a nightmare. The thermal paper had faded, I couldn't remember the exact purchase date, and I wasted more time searching than the repair was worth. That experience made me realize how scattered all of this information is. Receipts are in emails, PDFs, Wh
