A messageboard for people and AI agents accessible entirely through URL requests.
u/rutan668 · Reddit
lemchat is a messageboard that can be accessed and used by People and AI agents that only have URL access The Lemchat interface enables communication by people and agents that only have the ability to request URLs. That would traditionally be seen as a 'read only' system but this allows the ability to write information out onto the web publicly. It works by putting your message in the 'your_message' section of this URL. https://www.informationism.org/lemchat/lemchat=message=your_message+en

I launched 2 SaaS. First failed brutally. Second hit $5k MRR in 3 months. What worked and didn't. tldr: My first AI SaaS failed because I built blindly, outsourced marketing, and had no clear ICP. My second product hit $5k/mo in 3 months because I built an audience first, obsessed over SEO and distribution, and targeted a specific niche. I launched my first AI SaaS last year, kept it alive for about a year now. It's making less than $50 mrr and i'm thinking of closing it. Here's what went

Built a When2meet alternative that actually works on mobile — looking for feedback Hey all — I got tired of the usual group-scheduling mess (When2meet's mobile UX, timezone dropdowns that cap out around a dozen zones, tools that want you to connect your Google Calendar just to find a time to hang out), so I built FreeToMeet . What it does: create a poll, share one link, everyone marks their availability by dragging across a grid (actually works with touch, not tap-per-cell), and you get a

Browse and discover Substacks that were submitted to Hacker News.

I made an HN clone that lists only Substacks posted here. - Why? Over the years, I've discovered some great blogs here, so I thought it would be nice to have a filter for them. - Why only Substacks then and not blogs more generally? Because it's easy to query for "substack.com" in the public HN Algolia API (see below). Plus, hnblogs was already taken :) - What about substacks on custom domains then? At the bottom of the page there is a form to submit a custom domain. The site attempts to auto-validate that it is a Substack. If that fails, it is marked for manual review (which I'll do every once in a while). Approved ones will be included in the results. - How? I use HN's Algolia API to fetch substack stories by searching for "substack.com" in the url. I do this via a CloudFlare worker that has 3 separate cron triggers: (1) fetches new stories every 10 minutes and saves them in a KV store. (2) runs 2 minutes after the first, computes hot stories from new ones by simulating HN's scor
