I was interested in learning more about reverse image search, so I built audioguide.london. It’s a simple image search where you take a photo of an artwork in a gallery, tries to ID it and returns a pre-generated audio and a link to the museum website. The audios were all generated locally, essentially looking at the contents of the website, running it through a LLM to generate a script and Kokoro for TTS. I’ve built it as an app for myself almost a year ago, so I deployed it as a vibe coded web

I’ve been using Windows as my daily use lately despite I have been using Mac/Linux for a long time, but I keep running into all sorts of issues, so I’ve been fixing them vibe-coding with Claude. I’m gonna dump all that stuff on This blog is fully automated with Claude Code, from coding all the way to reporting. It’s nothing special—anyone could do it—but it’s actually pretty fun once you try it. The only annoyed is that it burns through tokens like crazy. Is vibe coding criticism fair? A lot of the criticism of vibe coding is fair. Too many projects look good in a demo then fall apart in production — weak security, missing edge cases, code nobody understands later. One of the biggest gaps is testing (or the total lack of it). I took both automated and manual testing seriously while building Brainary. Ended up with a testing-to-code ratio of about 1 to less than 3, plus a lot of hands-on checking. I think it turned out solid because of that.
