I built a screenshot API because my personal Puppeteer setup kept breaking. Six months later it has an MCP server and hundereds of users Solo founder here, this is my product, full disclosure. It started as super simple helper self hosted tool for myself: I needed website screenshots for a project, self-hosted Puppeteer, and spent more time babysitting Chromium than building. I saw by @jonathan_wilke blowing up (what a success!) - and it got me inspired. But instead of cloning it 1:1 (there are a hundred copycats already), I made it my own: 🎪 Buy a parcel, prompt the AI, and get your own pixel-art slop on a shared canvas - promote your business, or just have fun filling up the floor. Jokes aside but honestly (Landing page) was built with Claude (Opus 4.7) in 1 day. But no, it was not just four prompts or some random skills. Here's how I built the entire AsciiMagic landing page with Claude in one day👇 Started with a rough sketched wireframe. Then designed it in @paper Then I used the Paper MCP with Claude to recreate that design in code and get a solid first version running. From there, the real work began. I kept iterating with specialised Claude skills: • impeccable • frontend-design • emil-design-eng • review-animations • responsive-design • seo-audit Each one improved a different part of the experience.
