I got tired of leaving claude code for image assets so I made Img-Forge - a remote txt2img MCP, API SoloDev here (doing this outside of my 9-5); I've decided to start shipping instead of remaining in a state of perpetual build. I’m 18 and built an AI chat app solo. Tear it apart (brutal feedback welcome) Built this solo this year at 18. It’s called Veris, an AI chat + writing assistant. I know, “another chatbot” 😭. So I gave it stuff the big ones don’t. Favorite feature: upload an image and pick a mode: Normal (it analyzes it) or Debate (it actually argues with you about it). Not selling anything. i just did it 🤩 ! crossed $273 in revenue with my saas. After months of building, redesigning, and questioning whether anyone would actually pay for what I built, I finally crossed $273 in total revenue . It’s not life-changing money, but it’s the first real proof that someone is willing to pay for software I created. A few things I’ve learned so far: Shipping beats endlessly polishing features. Talking to users is more valuable than guessing what they want.
