Share the vinyl records you're spinning and see what other collectors are playing.
geekamongus · HN
I collect records and I build apps in my spare time (and listen to records while I build apps), and this is what happens when those two things run into each other. Many people post photos of what they have spinning on their turntables on social media, and most never get any engagement. It occurred to me that people might want a better way to do this, and bringing them together in a niche social site might help. So I made Wax Spinner. Connect your Discogs (the de-facto vinyl collector's catalogue) account, post whatever you're playing with an optional note, and it lands in a feed where people can like it and comment. You can also browse anyone's full collection on their profile, and filter the feed by genre, pulled straight from Discogs metadata. The conversation and the discovery are the primary purpose. The details this crowd might find interesting: every spin generates its own OpenGraph share card on the fly, with cover art, artist, year, and notes rendered server-side and cached

Share context across AI agents so they remember your codebase and task history.

AI agents have amnesia — Claude Code figures out the codebase, an hour later Codex starts from zero. So I built a shared memory + task board for every MCP agent — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI: Is this just my problem? Help me find out.

Turn YouTube videos, PDFs, and URLs into Anki flashcard decks in seconds.

Built an AI SaaS that turns your notes/articles/PDFs into study flashcards — looking for harsh feedback (and bugs) Hey folks, Solo/small side project here: Deckly ( deckly.one ) — an AI-powered flashcard generator for spaced-repetition learning (Anki-compatible export). You give it text, a PDF, or an article link, it generates a deck of flashcards (Q&A, Cloze, or multiple choice), optionally with TTS audio and images per card, and you can study it right in the browser or export to `.apkg`.

Analyze texts to identify 10 toxic and 7 healthy communication patterns.

Underrated...well I wouldn't say that because I'm just starting, but overlooked maybe. The impact on humanity will be noticed across the globe. Stop reacting. Start reFraming.
