I’m a psychologist, not a developer. Over the past few months, I used Google AI Studio to build Psycurate.com Why? The digital mental health space has become exhausting—too many great tools are buried under aggressive monetization, mandatory tracking, and corporate bloat. This website wants to be an accessible alternative. What Psycurate is about: * Privacy First: A space specifically for tools that respect the person using them. Tools that do not harvest data. * A directory where anyone can discover and use these applications completely free, with no cookies and no corporate agendas and no friction * A platform to showcase tools made by ethical or indie developers that have something to offer to the mental health digital space. I just finished building the platform, so this is very much a fresh proof-of-concept. Scout is the best tool for finding activities for your child. I built this to solve my personal pain point. Currently the best solutions are wordpress blogs where people manually aggregate this information. But human-run blogs can't possibly find every event, they don't know what my child's interests are or what's near my home, so my wife & I would spend hours just learning what we can do with our child. Scout is totally different. Our Agents intelligently crawl the web and find everything in a specific geographic region. We're staring with Seattle, where I live. Scout event has an "inclusivity" filter which lets you find events that are sensory friendly, ASL/assistive listening/captioning, LGBTQ+ & trans affirming, wheelchair accessible, etc. My favorite feature is the daily email with a curated list of events for you. Hey James, I am building that helps parents focus on their kids long term goals. Parents don’t have to be fluent on any skills to teach kids. All they have to do is choose the goal like chess, swimming, trachtenberg math, yoga etc and you get weekly list.

Few days ago Happy had a birthday. Tried to refresh one of the most neglected part of it: our Happy Website: also i built a new harness called “rig”. i started to use at work recently instead of codex/claude code and i liked how it does work. i want to share this with everyone. it is a codex and cause code reimplemented using Pi, but keeping native prompts and expanded a little for uniformity (like added workflows to codex yay!). when something new released that is worthy of porting - i ask Sol to mim for prompts or read sources directly and i can have a feature within an hour. why this is needed? i was constantly blocked by the needing of integrating a lot of models together, which each has their own harness or many doesn’t have any, but i didn’t want to go too far from native and don’t like the idea of extensions - i want experience to be the same everywhere. i think configuration > extensions. more soon
