I built a job hunting tool, early launch- free for you to try. Appreciate real feedback Got tired of resume tools that juice a match % by stuffing keywords you can’t defend in an interview. Upload resume + paste a job description It maps what you can prove vs gaps You confirm missing skills (have / partial / don’t have) You get a tailored resume + cover letter + a before/after checklist score computed by rules (not the LLM guessing) Honest limits: it will not invent expe

Trying to make a career building website Built a résumé (resume) builder that generates 25 different template styles from one profile — free tier, no credit card. I got tired of retyping the same résumé into a different format every time I applied somewhere with a different template requirement, so I built DraftCareer. The core idea: fill in your career profile once, then render it into any of 25 templates (ATS-safe single-column ones and more visual two-column designs) without re-enter

I got tired of ATS résumé checkers paywalling after a few scans, so I built a free one (no signup) Every "free" ATS resume checker I tried capped me after a handful of scans, then wanted $30-50/mo. When you're applying to dozens of jobs, that's exactly when you need to check the most. So I built one that's actually free and needs no login: https://careerdiary.io/ats-resume-checker Paste your resume (and optionally a job description) and it scores it, shows the keyword gaps against that sp

How do you actually keep track of your job applications? (Built a tool for this, curious what everyone else does) I've been deep in a job search for a while now, and at some point I lost track of what I'd actually sent where. Which CV version went to which company, which cover letter, did I follow up, did I even hear back. Spreadsheets fell apart fast once I was applying to a lot of places at once. So I ended up building ApplyMind, a small tool that automatically detects when I apply to a j

I turned an open-source Project into my first SaaS Like a lot of people job hunting, I was sending nearly the same resume to every posting and wondering why I wasn't hearing back. I found Resume-Matcher, an open-source project with 28k+ GitHub stars that rewrites your resume line-by-line to actually match a job post instead of just stuffing in keywords. Loved the idea but using it meant self-hosting: Python, Node, an LLM provider or Ollama, ideally Podman or Docker I wanted to just use the
