I removed the signup wall from my form builder and conversion is improving Ive been working on a form builder and recently started looking more closely at where people were dropping off. One obvious source of friction was the sign-up requirement. Previously, somone would land on the site and need to create an account before they could properly try the form builder. So I decided to experiment with progressive sign-up with supabase instead. The idea is pretty simple: let people experience

I built a free checker for whether your chatbot breaks the new EU AI law There's an EU rule (AI Act, Article 50) that becomes enforceable Aug 2: if you run a chatbot, you have to disclose it's AI. I kept seeing people unsure whether their setup was compliant, so I built a checker. You paste a URL, it loads the page, finds the chat widget, and tells you whether a clear AI disclosure is present. I built this a year ago, just as a fun experiment, and posted it on my portfolio. It was getting a lot of monthly traffic so I built it as a stand alone app and monetized it. Slowly but surely it’s growing :) Mobile app launches soon too.
