I built a typing practice site where you type today's news and race your own ghost Typing practice always felt like wasted reading time to me. You type random words for 20 minutes and learn nothing. So I made the sentences today's news instead: finish a session and you've actually caught up on the day. Every sentence links to the original article. The part I'm most proud of is invisible. Sentences are rewritten by an LLM, then fact-checked against the source before publishing.
One hidden picture a day, same for everyone. Draw as little as you can before you name it, lower is better.

I built a tool that shows if you would've panic-sold during a real market crash Weekend project: a test where you relive a stock's worst historical crash day by day, and decide whether to sell or hold at each point. At the end it shows how much return you'd have left on the table by panic-selling vs holding. I built and shipped a daily puzzle game in one day using AI — here's what actually turned out to be hard The code was the easy part. What took the real work was the puzzle design, and I didn't expect that. Some things I learned building an emoji-clue game: Emoji rendering is a minefield. I used 🫘 (beans) in an idiom puzzle.
