Four months ago, I launched on a brand-new domain as a hobby project. This past week, it reached: - 5,709 Google clicks - 237,600 Google impressions - 17,755 total page views I’m a marketer, not a developer. I just like building things and making number go up 🚀. gave me an excuse to do both while solving a problem I actually had. I collect trading cards and regularly attend card shows, but finding local events was surprisingly difficult. The information was scattered across organizer websites, Instagram, Facebook, Eventbrite, and local groups. There wasn’t one place I trusted to find them all, so I decided to make it myself. My first attempt in 2025 stalled. I could build a decent-looking frontend, but the backend, submissions, and data pipeline were beyond my vibe-coding skills at the time. Built a transparent buy/sell/trade storefront for games & TCG. NO BS, roast it. I’ve been building this over the last few weeks, and slowly starting to go live with real inventory, and real traffic. Made this app for my in person Fantasy Football draft using Claude Code. I wanted something that I could use to keep track of drafted players from my phone (we put physical stickers on a board in this league). If you open with Safari and share it to your Home Screen as a web app you can make it look like a regular app and all data is stored to your phone, so no connectivity is needed. I’ll be updating rankings closer to my draft in a couple weeks. Let me know your suggestions!
