I turned an open-source Project into my first SaaS Like a lot of people job hunting, I was sending nearly the same resume to every posting and wondering why I wasn't hearing back. I found Resume-Matcher, an open-source project with 28k+ GitHub stars that rewrites your resume line-by-line to actually match a job post instead of just stuffing in keywords. Loved the idea but using it meant self-hosting: Python, Node, an LLM provider or Ollama, ideally Podman or Docker I wanted to just use the

I’d open a JD, feel “maybe,” apply anyway, and only later realize it was a bad fit — or spend an hour rewriting my résumé for something I should’ve skipped. What it does 1. Paste a job URL 2. Get a structured fit brief (score, gaps, clear apply/skip) 3. If it’s worth it, tailor résumé + cov
