Capture UI elements with code context and screenshots to share with AI agents for debugging visual bugs.
Loerei · HN
I found that describing where a broken UI is and taking screenshots for AI agents really sucks. I’m too lazy to explain an indescribable visual bug or capture a millisecond-long flash. I also don’t want to remember which file defines an element, whether it's right in the .tsx or a problem with the Parent Styles in .css. And even if you can point out the exact file, your agent still has to dig through thousands of lines of code to know what on earth you're yapping about. In a 7700-file monorepo like Cal.com, simply giving the right file in the prompt for your agent saves about 68.9% of execution time and 94.2% of the tokens your agent needs to digest. HoverSource gives all the needed information and further pushes it to -88.5% time and -94.5% tokens, basically skipping the entire digging session and jumping straight to reasoning and executing. The save is linear to how big your codebase is. I want to save tokens, but don’t want to spend my time and energy digging manually, and a junio

Free Kanban project management with boards, spreadsheets, documents, forms, invoices, and AI automation.

I built a free, all-in-one Trello alternative with no per-seat pricing — would love your feedback Hey r/SideProject 👋 I'm the founder of Elixir Boards https://elixirboards.com I got tired of Trello/Asana charging per seat and splitting basic features across paid tiers, so I built an all-in-one workspace: Kanban boards, lists, cards, checklists, labels, due dates Automations + recurring tasks (free) — Trello locks these behind paid plans Docs, spreadsheets, a whiteboard, and invo

Generate real estate listings, follow-up emails, and social captions instantly.

I built an AI tool that writes real estate listings in 30 seconds / looking for honest feedback Hey everyone, solo founder here, based in Bulgaria. I kept hearing the same complaint from real estate agents: writing a good listing description takes 20-30 minutes, and then you have to do it again for the follow-up emails, the open house invite, and the social captions. Same property, four different pieces of copy, every single time. So I built ListFlow . You enter the property details once

Manage mobile home parks with SMS rent collection, digital leases, and maintenance tracking.

RV Park SAAS So that I’ve used wispr flow to help write this so it’s a disclaimer. I recently built myparkoffice.com , and to be honest, it started as total "AI slop." I asked AI to identify a "pen and paper" industry that was ripe for AI disruption. When it suggested RV parks, I thought I’d struck gold. A low-tech niche with clear inefficiencies? Sounds like the perfect solo-founder dream, right? I leaned heavily into AI to build the entire thing, treating it more like a fun experiment th

Find jobs matched to your background, write tailored resumes, and organize applications with AI.
u/Odd_Huckleberry4363 · Reddit
Laid off after 25 years in consulting, so I built the job-search tool I wished existed I got caught in the tech layoffs after 25 years in client-facing consulting, and the job hunt itself turned out to be the worst-designed workflow I'd ever seen. Jobs scattered across a dozen boards, every posting wanting a different resume - AI responses that sounded horrible, the whole thing living in a spreadsheet. So, I built Jobfyt while searching to help me find jobs and organize things.

Track commission payments and flag when payouts are short, missing, or clawed back.
u/JustinMoose · Reddit
I built an app that flags when commission earners get underpaid, unpaid, or clawed back I sell insurance for a living, and a while back I realized I had no real way to know whether the carriers actually paid me correctly. You bind a policy, and 30-60 days later some commission shows up on a statement, and you just kind of trust the number. Across hundreds of policies and a few carriers, that's impossible to track in your head. So I built PayoutVerify. You log what you sold and what you expe

Venture operating system helping founders with validation, branding, positioning, and launch.

Would you use a brainstorming/planning/ideation tool for side projects? This is not a new idea, and I know we see posts about something similar about once a month. I do think I took it farther than others I've seen, but either way I'd still be interested in feedback on this one. Backstory: I've been building side projects with AI a lot (who hasn't?) and I realized that over the past year I've gravitated toward a very structured approach for building new ideas. I define it, research competit

Generate AI demo videos from a product URL for marketing and social media.
u/Rae_Shin_ · Reddit
Why spend hours making demo videos? Paste a URL and let AI do it These days everyone is building products, but promoting them is a completely different challenge. Recording demos, editing videos, adding captions, and making content for Shorts, TikTok, Reels, or ads takes a lot of time. So I built Screenzy.pro. Just paste your product URL, and it automatically creates product demo videos that explain what your product does. It works well for social media content, launch videos, tutoria
