Reading the week
New submissions nearly doubled this week — 1,196 vs. 616 in the prior edition (+94%) — pushing the published total from 9,946 to 11,127. That's a bigger net gain than the raw new-apps count alone (about 15 listings net came off net of the 1,196 added, consistent with 10 being buried this week), so treat any share move below roughly half a point as noise from the larger sample rather than a real shift.
Stack shares barely budged despite the bigger pool. Next.js held the top spot at 38.9% (was 38.7%), Vercel ticked up to 34.2% (was 34.0%), and Google Analytics eased to 24.7% (was 24.9%). The one point worth flagging is Cloudflare, down 0.4pt to 36.1% from 36.5% — the largest move of the week, though still well within normal week-to-week wobble. Lovable was flat at 6.0% and Radix UI essentially unchanged at 5.0% (was 5.1%).
Source mix was similarly stable: X nudged up to 73.6% (was 73.3%), still the dominant channel by a wide margin, while Chinese list slipped 0.2pt to 4.3%. Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, V2EX, direct, and GitHub all held within a tenth of a point of last week. On survival, 10 apps were buried this week and 87 are now flagged at-risk — worth watching whether that risk pool converts to burials next edition.
