Reading the week
This week's census grew by 604 entries (9,342 → 9,946), from 616 new submissions minus 10 buried. That's a sharp slowdown from last week's addition of 1,559 — this week's new cohort is roughly 40% the size of the prior one, so the shifts below come from a much smaller injection of fresh data than last week, not a reshuffling of the existing base.
Next.js, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Google Analytics all gained similar ground: Next.js rose to 38.7% (+2.2pp from 36.5%), Vercel to 34.0% (+1.8pp from 32.2%), Cloudflare to 36.5% (+1.7pp from 34.8%), and Google Analytics to 24.9% (+1.7pp from 23.2%). Lovable (6.0%, +0.3pp) and Radix UI (5.1%, +0.2pp) barely moved. Since growth was slower this week rather than faster, this cluster of gains looks less like a mix effect from a flood of new entries and more like a real, if modest, drift toward the Next.js/Vercel/Cloudflare stack among sites already being tracked.
Sources held mostly steady: X supplied 73.3% of entries, down 1.0pp from 74.3% but still the dominant channel by far; Hacker News (7.6%, +0.5pp) and Reddit (8.1%, +0.3pp) ticked up modestly, while the Chinese list slipped to 4.5% (-0.3pp). Ten entries were buried this week and 71 are flagged at-risk — worth watching next week to see whether that risk pool turns into further burials or settles down.
