Reading the week
Sites tracked grew from 4,802 to 5,734 this week (+932, about +19%), with 933 new entries logged. That growth was lopsided by source: X alone accounts for roughly 685 of the net new listings, nudging its already-dominant share up to 69.6% (was 68.8%). Chinese list posted the week's biggest source-side point move, down from 8.8% to 7.5%, even though its raw count still rose slightly (about 423 to 430) — it simply grew slower than X. Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, V2EX, direct, and GitHub all held within a point of last week.
Every tracked stack lost share: Cloudflare fell the most, 40.8% to 34.3% (-6.5 points), then Next.js 36.2% to 30.4% (-5.8pts), Vercel 31.7% to 26.7% (-5.0pts), and Google Analytics 25.3% to 21.3% (-4.0pts). But the raw counts barely moved — Cloudflare went from about 1,959 to 1,964 sites, Next.js 1,738 to 1,744, Vercel 1,522 to 1,529, Google Analytics 1,215 to 1,219. With 932 new sites added and almost none picking up these stack tags, the share drop is a denominator effect from the larger sample, not a shift away from these tools. Radix UI (5.8% to 4.9%) and Lovable (4.8% to 4.0%) moved the same way, on the same flat counts.
On survival, 7 sites were buried this week and 37 sit at-risk, out of 5,734 tracked — a small slice, in line with normal churn rather than any sudden die-off.
