Reading the week
The census grew from 3,028 to 3,991 published apps this week (+963, +31.8%), though new additions slowed to 872 from 1,205 last week (-27.6%) — total growth outpaced weekly adds, so part of this week's total reflects backlog or catch-up entries rather than fresh submissions alone. With the sample nearly a third larger, the point moves below partly reflect that changing mix, not only churn.
Among stacks, Vercel moved the most, up 5.7 points to 37.8% (from 32.1%), followed by Next.js at 43.1% (+3.1pts) and Cloudflare at 48.2% (+2.3pts) — all three remain the most common choices among builders. Google Analytics held essentially flat at 30.2% (+0.2pt), while Radix UI slipped to 6.9% (-0.3pt) and Lovable edged up to 5.7% (+0.8pt).
On sources, X stayed dominant at 67.7% (+0.1pt, effectively unchanged). The Chinese list saw the largest drop, down 3.0 points to 10.3%, while Reddit gained 1.5 points to 7.4% and Hacker News and Product Hunt each added 0.7 points. Survival numbers show 10 apps buried this week and 2 at risk — a small share of the 3,991 total, pointing to modest churn relative to the size of this week's influx.
