Reading the week
This week's census counted 3,028 published apps, up from 2,129 at last week's baseline — a net gain of 899. Weekly new submissions actually cooled, though: 1,205 new apps this week versus 1,507 the week before, a roughly 20% slowdown in intake. Because the sample grew by about 42% over the baseline, some of the share moves below reflect a changing mix of what's being counted, not pure churn among the same apps. Cloudflare had the biggest point move, from 35.3% to 45.9% of apps (1,391 total), followed by Next.js (31.9% → 40.0%, 1,210 apps) and Google Analytics (23.8% → 30.0%, 909 apps). Vercel rose from 27.1% to 32.1% (973 apps) and Radix UI from 4.1% to 7.2% (218 apps). Lovable is a new entrant at 4.9% (149 apps), with no prior-week figure to compare against.
On sources, X stayed dominant but eased slightly, 68.8% → 67.6% (2,047 apps). Chinese list saw the largest drop, 16.5% → 13.3% (402 apps), while Hacker News (5.4% → 7.1%, 215 apps) and Reddit (3.9% → 5.9%, 178 apps) both gained ground. Product Hunt, V2EX, and GitHub each ticked up marginally; direct referrals slipped from 2.1% to 1.6% (49 apps).
Survival held steady: just 1 app was buried this week and 10 sit at risk, out of a sample now past 3,000 — the churn side of the ledger stayed calm even as intake slowed. Taken together, the infrastructure stack (Cloudflare, Next.js, Vercel) and Google Analytics keep consolidating share, while Chinese list's relative pull is fading as Hacker News and Reddit pick up. With new adds down about 20% week over week, next week's numbers will show whether that's a plateau or a blip.

Survival
10 published projects are flickering — repeated failed checks, sliding toward at-risk, and 1 went dark past the grace period this week.
Under the track lights
Projects that earned the Editor's Pick plaque this week — reported here, decided there.
Cathedral turns your reading into a ritual — whisper your question into a glowing confessional before any card is drawn. Picking a mood first makes it feel like a candlelit chapel, not a button tap.
Each brainless block renders inside its own tiny terminal window, down to the traffic-light dots and a blinking cursor. The demo plays out the exact command and diff an agent would run to drop it into your page.
AncreMed checks every dosage and diagnostic threshold word-for-word against its 76,303 HAS and ANSM source sheets before answering. Ask it like a colleague and get an answer built only from what it can cite.
Walk 1840s Manhattan in first person, hunting six red pins tied to Melville's real-life haunts. Reach one and its story surfaces, turning your stroll into a hand-charted logbook of the island that shaped him.
Six keys, one shot, no retries: you feel each model's craft in the tight controls of a 192×144 screen. Flipping between glowing cabinets to compare takes feels like a quarter-slot arcade, coded by machines.
Live tickers for BUIDL and USDY scroll by like a stock ticker, turning tokenization into numbers you can watch move. A stacked area chart below turns years of RWA growth into one rising, color-coded skyline.
