Learn Chess Basics + Knight's Hop — short interactive lessons that take a beginner from zero. Solve 5,300+ adaptive puzzles across six themed plots, with a daily Today's Five quest. Play Invite friends by private link, join the weekly tournament, or train against Lucy and Luca. Explore Side quests: Forest Adventure, Wizard's Duel, Knight's Run, and a 108-story chess bookshelf. Collect Piece sets, board themes, daily streaks — all tracked on your Adventurer's Plaque. Chat The Great Hall: moderated lobby chat. Find any player, peek at their plaque, no DMs.

BUILT BY A DAD FOR HIS DAUGHTER Power Up Castle started because Ada wanted to play chess online with her friends — but every "chess for kids" site I found leaked personal info, public chat, ads, or all three. So I built the castle she'd actually want to live in. Every feature you see here is something Ada (or one of her test players) asked for at the kitchen table.
