Hey HN, I'm really excited to share Emra with you. The yc description would be: It's like "Notion meets Lovable". It's a workspace where you build full apps using AI and every app sits on one shared database and service layer. Generated apps are always editable, and (coming soon:) can interact with each other in the workspace. I'm of the opinion that the cost of software will go rapidly to zero (I don't think that's too surprising to any of you), but there will always be room for effort and creativity. Emra is essentially built for the future where every person is a developer. Essentially personal software for everyone. So far I've built notes apps with a 3d graph view to see connections, a video editing app and a canvas design tool (figma clone) with export capabilities, as well as a collection of project management tools and games. Right now the most satisfying thing is being able to fix a bug I run into in around the same amount of time that it takes to send a bug report in any tr

I built a tool that tells you why a website “looks vibe coded” and how to improve it. Some of us use vibe coding because it’s insanely fast, and honestly, a lot of the results are pretty good. But there’s also this weird thing where you open a website and can almost instantly tell it was vibe coded. Same cards, same rounded corners, same gradients, same spacing, same component-library feel. People usually just call it “AI slop,” but I wanted to understand what actually creates that feeling.

I vibe-coded a full no-code website builder using Claude's free plan — free, stable, and open source, but it's better than a paid app Hey, I've been building a no-code website editor solo, OpenForge Studio, and figured this community would appreciate it more than most. Full disclosure upfront: this is entirely vibe-coded, built using Claude's free plan. No team, no funding, just AI-assisted coding sessions in my free time. I'm mentioning this clearly because I think it's wor

I created a website with free tools. It all started when my colleague reached me with a complaint that she created a few QR codes, and after a week they started showing paywall. By that time those QR codes were printed on promo banners. I remember Internet as a place where you find a tool, use it and leave. That's it - no paywalls, no subscriptions, no accounts. So I decided to put a piece of those beautiful Internet back and created a small toolbox site - dimastoolbox.com Of

I built a PDF redactor that auto-detects names, SSNs, and account numbers without sending your file anywhere - works on your phone too. Free, no sign-up. Plenty of redaction tools upload your file to their server first (no thanks for legal/medical/tax docs). Some keep the file local but send the text off to an AI, so the text still leaves. And most of the truly local ones only let you draw black boxes by hand, which is how those "redacted" documents in the news keep getting un-r

Been deep in AI tools this week. Here are 10 that actually earned a spot in my stack: 1. (prompt once, generate with 40+ image/video models) 2. (an AI colleague that works your tickets in Slack) 3. (a blockchain built so AI agents can pay each other) 4. (one API key for 100+ models, auto-routed + insured) 5. (an AI employee that lives in Slack and Teams) 6. (run your fleet of Claude Code/Codex agents in parallel) 7. (AI search that answers instead of just linking) 8. (describe a topic, get a full slide deck back) 9. (speak naturally, get polished text 4x faster) 10. (60+ image/video models, one prompt box) Don't lose this list, it could be incredibly helpful.
