had me by the phone number. Great UX for calls and SMS. But per-user fees, credit systems, clunky AI bolted on. It got unbearable. So I went to port my number out. Turns out it was Twilio to Twilio. They were just reselling Twilio with a wrapper. So I vibe coded my own interface directly on Twilio and walked away. This is what's happening everywhere right now. Salesforce. HubSpot. Legacy SaaS that trapped people because switching felt impossible. Builders can see through the wrapper now. They can vibe code their way out of your moat in a weekend. Old school tech never had to be great. They just had to trap people. Those days are done.

Managing a household -- or anything else - in a custom platform AI has changed software development. Anyone can make an app. It might not be great. It might not be secure. But it will probably be able to do exactly what the creator wants. Keeping track of who is responsible for stocking the pickles in the pool house. How long has your little brother been jinxed. Then I found vibecoding and started building things myself!!! TinyRoom is my first real project. You share a link, people click it, you're in a video call. No accounts, no downloads.
