Just shipped something on @commonsmade and I’m genuinely hyped. Introducing Starbound Python It’s a small interactive world where you help a robot buddy named Nova rescue lost stars by writing real Python commands. You type a line of code, hit run, and watch the map react in real time. Simple commands, instant feedback, space vibes. I built the whole thing inside the Commons/VibeFi harness. No fighting with deployment, no separate backend setup, just vibe → iterate → ship. The free compute + built-in tools made it feel almost unfair how fast it came together. This is exactly what I think the future of building should feel like: An AI coding environment that doesn’t just help you write code, but actually lets you launch it, share it, and (eventually) earn from it. If Cursor or Claude Code had a built-in accelerator and 24/7 playground for vibecoders… this is the closest thing we’ve got right now. Go play with Nova for a bit. Write a few lines. Light up some stars

I'm a father of two, 7 and 12. They are obsessed with Roblox, especially Rivals. Like a lot of parents, we did not love it. We tried the usual things: block it, limit it, set timers." It became a daily battle, a lose-lose situation. So I flipped the problem. Instead of fighting what they loved, I decided to lean into it, but with a twist. Why just play an FPS when you could build one together? My kids became the PMs. Claude and I became their engineer. I was shocked by how fast we moved. We picked a name, Cooked and started building. Get in. Lock in. Get cooked! In the first 3 hours, we had an actual FPS we could play together in the browser. Next day I invited my friend's two kids over. Suddenly, I had four PMs. We had 3 laptops, 1 iPad and 1 iPhone. So in 30mins we added mobile support and could play all 5 together. Visual-HN – hcker.news with preview pictures Hello r/SideProjects community. I don't really know how to do this so I'll just say, I'm a hobbyist and I'm just messing around. So I've been messing around with a proxy + Chrome extension HN-clone site that injects preview images into the hcker.news feed and add a few visual tweaks like ranks and trend arrows, trying to make HN a little less text-only. The hard part was probably getting preview images for sites that aggressively block scrapers
