Built a tool that scores NYC apartments/blocks using public 311 complaint data Excited to share what my team and I built at the NYPL AI Hackathon: Streetwise. If you've ever searched for an apartment in NYC, you know the feeling: a listing photo tells you nothing about whether the heat actually works in January, whether the block has loud noises at 3am, or whether the building has a history of plumbing nightmares. That information exists, it's just buried in millions of rows of NYC's public
