I built a free, open-source gallery wall planner because the good ones are paywalled My wife and I were decorating a big wall and couldn't agree on a layout. I wanted to place real frame sizes with our own photos and see it to scale before drilling. Tools exist (GalleryPlanner, Suprtiles…), but the good ones paywall the useful bits or felt heavier than I needed. So I vibe-coded a stripped-down one over a evening. I’m electrician who can’t write single line of code. I built a voice to invoice app. Here’s everything that broke. I do solar and smart home installs. Most of my invoicing used to happen at 9pm, sitting in the van, thumbs covered in dust, typing into a spreadsheet I hated. So I started building an app where you just talk. “Ran 40 meters of cable at the Novak house, four hours labour, two grand.” It transcribes, parses it into line items, spits out a PDF invoice. Takes about 20 seconds. I
