I built a free checker for whether your chatbot breaks the new EU AI law There's an EU rule (AI Act, Article 50) that becomes enforceable Aug 2: if you run a chatbot, you have to disclose it's AI. I kept seeing people unsure whether their setup was compliant, so I built a checker. You paste a URL, it loads the page, finds the chat widget, and tells you whether a clear AI disclosure is present. Three weeks to build an AI security scanner. The scanner was the easy part. Shipped RedFlag this month. Breakdown of where the time actually went, because it was nothing like I estimated.
