I created a website with free tools. It all started when my colleague reached me with a complaint that she created a few QR codes, and after a week they started showing paywall. By that time those QR codes were printed on promo banners. I remember Internet as a place where you find a tool, use it and leave. That's it - no paywalls, no subscriptions, no accounts.
