I built an app called Doom Scroll that hits you with a paywall after 3 miles of scrolling I wanted to build something that targets our actual scrolling habits. The app tracks your real-time thumb distance, displays sarcastic milestones as you go, and locks you out once you scroll a literal "5K" (3.1 miles). ​I'm currently finishing up the database backend to save user high scores, profile accounts, and extended milestones that go out into Low Earth Orbit for the premium tier.
