Built a DIY calculator site in a weekend — betting on "boring tools" over content After my last project (an AI debate platform) got rejected by AdSense for "low value content," I went the opposite direction: no content treadmill, no AI features, no backend. Just genuinely useful calculators. studandslab.com — 10 free calculators for woodworking and home projects (board feet, stair stringers, concrete, drywall). Built a bookmarking app you can ask questions It's called Attic. You paste in links, videos or plain text. Later you can ask it things in normal language: "what have I been reading about lately", "what did I save and never open again". Each answer lists the saved items it used, so you can check it.
