I built a dashboard that just shows me where global money is flowing. Free public data, rebuilds itself twice a day. Every indicator answers exactly one question. Is money loose or tight? Flowing where? Buying what? Risk-on or risk-off? Crowded? If it doesn’t answer one of these, it doesn’t get a slot on the board. Reading got the same treatment: a hard cap of 45 min/day → 5 RSS feeds + 5 newsletters, each rate-limited (Damodaran: about one post a month). I’d rather miss a few things than let the feed become an anxiety machine. I don’t write code. Claude Code wrote every script — fetch, build, publish, twice a day on cron. I set the rules and keep the judgment; the machine does the running. Personal research notes, not investment advice.

As someone who doesn't use any of the more "advanced" features on sites like ChatGPT or Claude (agentic mode, memory, image generation, deep research, etc), I found the bloat of these services, both in UX and in performance, to be pretty tedious. There are a million AI chat interfaces out there, but I could never find one that just did simple messaging and history in the most minimal and lightweight way possible. So I made my own. Nully is written in Go and Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS. It literally just sends messages to OpenRouter, receives the result, and stores your messages locally. It's very simple, very clean, and very lightweight (see performance graphs on the site). It has basic chat features, basic model settings, and works with just about any OpenRouter text model. It supports attachments and basic web search via the OpenRouter API. This video shows a fully animated 3D site built in 2 minutes with claude code. one terminal command. but the prompt was almost irrelevant. the real work was the pre-load: ui/ux pro max skill, a hero component from framer motion stacked in before claude touched anything the toolkit did the job. the prompt just pulled the trigger. that's also why most people's claude output looks generic. they skip the setup and blame the model.

I still don't like the fact that AI is adding more stuff for us to read, it's accelerating the code production but slowing down the code review. I built my own code reviewer as well ( https://pyor.review/ ), surfacing the important stuff first is the right track, but adding more stuff to read is daunting, but asking AI to just point you to what you need to focus on and skim the noise is what I'm leaning more towards.
